Having One of Those Days

We've all had those days. Not sure if you're coming down with something. You feel lousy, grumpy, tired. You feel like you're walking through fog, disconnected with the people closest to you. You can start to doubt everything that you know to be true. We all have them.

Depending on what the reason for the funk is, it can last a day or a year. I think we can get through it faster if we remember those things that we know to be true, even if they don't seem to be true. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. You're grumpy morning does not remove the love of God from your life. It's still there. Your fatigue and short temper does not remove the love of God from your life. It's still there. Nothing can remove it. Nothing can remove it.

All the promises of God are still there. Nothing can remove them. All the great things that you are going to be are still real. We all have bad days. God knows that. It's ok. Just don't beat yourself up too much. You're harder on yourself than anyone else could be. Lighten up, you'll get through it. Keep remembering the real things. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Nothing. It's reasonable that you don't feel it, just believe it.
