What could be more amazing than God's peace? - real peace, without fear, guilt, pressure, fatigue, anger. Peace that just lets you chill. Every muscle saturated with relaxation, calmness and security, security to know that nothing can harm you or threaten you. Imagine waking up every day with that peace and walking around doing all the things that you do. How wonderful would that be!
In Numbers 25:11, God said to Moses, "Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel while he was zealous for my sake...Wherefore say, Behold I give unto him my covenant of peace; and he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel."
Because Phinehas was zealous for God, God grated him a covenant of peace and an everlasting priesthood, not just to him, but to all the generations of his family. That's how much God wants us to love Him. If we will be zealous in our relationship to Him, He will bestow blessing we never knew existed, for ever.
That covenant of peace is yours to claim. There's only one condition. It's consuming. It will cost you your life. It will claim everything that you have. It will be the best thing you ever do, for ever.
