Aaaagh! How soon we forget the promises of God. He told us that He would save us, heal us, take care of us. He told that if we trusted Him, we wouldn't have to worry or be alone. But that trust implies that we remember what He said. We forget, and then we worry -about everything. We stop trusting the One Who Can Never Lie and believe the one who only lies.
It's a problem and we all face it. The lies are loud and in our face and hard to ignore. The promises are quiet. It seems like they're hidden away, tucked into the pages of a big book. But they are there for anyone to read, for anyone to believe. They're not hidden, they only require finding. I think it blesses God when we look for His promises. He's scattered them about like Easter eggs and chuckles when we find them and hold them up to remind Him of what He said.
Stop believing the lies and go back to the promises. They're right back there where you laid them down, and they're still real.
