It's Yours, Not Theirs

Part of walking in your destiny is listening to God, not other people who don't understand what you're called to. You may need to talk to people who will help you get going, but if you ask everyone, you're guaranteed to get feedback that will be counterproductive.

There's a little miracle element in personal destiny. Because the enemy DOES NOT want to see you working in your real calling, he will make sure that you hear every reason why you shouldn't even think about it. If you're not careful, you can be completely talked out of it and miss your greatest joy.

It will take courage just to believe. You have to embrace the idea. The good part is that God will call you to something that you will find wonderful. Believe that you really can do it. The how will have to be worked out and that's where you need great support. There will be people who will help, don't listen to the others. It's not their dream, it's yours.

Start where you can and just keep going. If you start taking the steps, God will supply the help, the encouragement, the direction, usually a little at a time. Don't expect to be world-renowned or nationally recognized. Don't worry about success. Just do. Once you're happy with what you're working on, that excitement will be contagious. Remind God everyday what you are called to. Tell yourself what you are called to, no matter what circumstances look like. It's faith that will take you through and God blesses faith. If you can see it, you can do it. It's yours.
