I've been all about being creative lately, mostly work related. I do love taking a plain-looking flyer or email and turning it into something fun and interesting. I'm not a graphic designer by training, but I am one now. Training by the seat of my pants really, but it's fun. I love getting good results.
I'm lucky that I don't have pressing deadlines that would rush me. I have the luxury of taking my time and letting the inspiration come. It really is inspiration. Once I do a layout of something, I walk away, get some tea, come back and look at it some more, then see the next thing to do with it. It's my method of coming up with great design. (Hey, it's my design so I get to call it great : )
I know that this creativity is ALL from God. Just think about CREATION! Making stuff out of nothing, now that's clever. I love this wave image because when I think of God's creativity, I think of the force of creativity that comes from Him.
Look around at the plant and animal life on this planet. It's mind-boggling. I have a personal theory about that. I kind of think that while God was making plants and animals, some of the angles wanted in on the fun so God let them play with the clay and crayons. You have to wonder about some of the stuff you see on the Discovery Channel!
God is still the same today. Still the same creation gushing out of Him. Want in on it too? Plug in! The juice is flowing, man. Download whatever you need and do that thing. It's going to be awesome!
